Investors in the Indian stock market are expected to monitor a number of companies on Thursday, September 3, in light of significant developments and announcements. RBL Bank, Power Grid Corporation of India, Paisalo Digital, NHPC, ICICI Bank, India Cements, and Meesho are expected to attract attention in the market. The Indian stock market experienced continued pressure for a third consecutive session on Wednesday, September 2, as the benchmark indices fell below critical levels. Renewed conflict in the Middle East contributed to rising oil prices, which in turn heightened inflation concerns and led to expectations of a more stringent monetary policy.

The Nifty 50 concluded the trading session with a decline of 0.59%, settling at 23,914. The index had earlier plunged to an intraday low of 23,786 before late-session buying facilitated a recovery of a significant portion of its losses. The Sensex concluded the trading session down by 0.62% at 76,469, having reached a one-month low during intraday activity. The selling pressure extended to the broader market, with the Midcap 100 and Smallcap 100 declining 0.53% and 0.37%, respectively.
