GIFT Nifty Opening Update
GIFT Nifty opened today at 23,212.00. It is up 21.50 points (0.09%) from yesterday’s close of 23,202.50- so the trend is positive.

Tata Communications, RR Kabel, Aurobindo Pharma, Bharat Forge, and Saatvik Green Energy are among the stocks expected to attract attention. GTPL Hathway, BHEL, Purple Style Labs, and NBCC (India) may also attract attention following announcements made by the companies.
Equities to Monitor:
- Tata Communications announced that its subsidiary TC Canada has reached an in-principle agreement with the Canada Revenue Agency to settle tax claims associated with its International Telecommunications Services business. The company stated that it does not anticipate any significant effect on its financials as a result of the settlement. In a separate announcement, the company disclosed the issuance of Rs 400 crore in commercial paper, which carries a discount rate of 5.99%, with redemption scheduled for October 22.
- RR Kabel has initiated commercial production at its new wires and cables manufacturing facility in Silvassa as of September 15. The facility is designed to achieve an annual capacity of 18,000 MT, of which 12,000 MT is presently operational.
- Aurobindo Pharma announced that the USFDA inspection of its wholly owned subsidiary Apitoria Pharma’s API manufacturing facility in Telangana has concluded with one procedural observation. The company indicated that it will address the regulator’s enquiries within the designated timeframe.
- Bharat Forge has formed a partnership with Pratt & Whitney Canada to assess the incorporation of advanced turboprop engines into a High Altitude Long Endurance Unmanned Aerial Vehicle program currently under development by India’s Defence Research and Development Organization. The collaboration encompasses engine compatibility and the integration of the engine with the airframe.
- Saatvik Green Energy has secured an order valued at Rs 1,041.63 crore from the Solar Energy Corporation of India for the provision of solar PV modules, with an expected completion date set for December 2027.
- GTPL Hathway has finalised the acquisition of the cable television operations of seven ACT Group companies for a total cash outlay of Rs 35.55 crore.
- BHEL has entered into a joint venture agreement with Titagarh Rail Systems to establish a 50:50 joint venture aimed at the maintenance of Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets over a period of 35 years.
- Purple Style Labs has sanctioned a Rs 420 crore investment in its wholly owned subsidiary PSL Retail via a rights issue, utilising a portion of the proceeds from its IPO fresh issue.
- NBCC (India) has secured work orders totalling Rs 144.98 crore, which encompass project management services for NEEPCO as well as repair-related tasks for SAIL.
